Arrested in Milan a 23-year-old accused of child pornography, aggravated sexual assault and sexual acts with minors, committed between 2019 and 2022 on twelve underage girls, thanks to an investigation that revealed his modus operandi of soliciting and exploiting victims on social media. Those who stopped the man in recent days were the carabinieri of the Milan Cathedral Company.
The 23-year-old was the recipient of an order for the application of a precautionary measure in prison issued by the Ordinary Court of Milan – GIP Office, as he was held responsible for the crimes of child pornography, aggravated sexual violence and sexual acts with a minor. The provision arises from an investigative activity coordinated by the Public Prosecutor’s Office of the Court of Milan and conducted by the local PG Section – Aliquota Carabinieri, which allowed, through an in-depth telematic analysis of the cell phone used by the suspect, to collect serious indications of guilt against him, revealing a serial, disturbing and morbid activity of production of pornographic material through the use of minors, including those under the age of fourteen, lured on social media.
In particular, the investigations, started following the complaint presented by the parents of a minor at the Carabinieri Station of Palmi (RC), made it possible to document and reconstruct the constant and recurring modus operandi used by the suspect who: first, chose in in a non-random way the very young victims by luring them on social networks, including Instagram, with flattery and compliments. Then, having gained the trust of the victims, he induced them – taking advantage of their condition of particular vulnerability and fragility – to send him self-produced photos and videos of a sexual nature on his WhatsApp account, not hesitating to humiliate them with vulgar and insulting phrasesto the point of threatening them, if they refused to continue, to disseminate and publish the multimedia contents received.
The man was then associated with the Milan San Vittore prison and made available to the Judicial Authority pending the guarantee interrogation.
