On Thursday 13 June at 6pm the Cuneo municipal council will meet in an extraordinary session, as requested by the council groups last week, to vote (open vote) on the proposed agenda regarding “Tettoia Vinaj – former Caserma Cantore – exposed to the Court of Auditors on possible fiscal damages – revocation of office of the Barosio law firm – Commission of inquiry” presented by the city councilors Giancarlo Boselli and Paolo Armellini (Independent), Claudio Bongiovanni (Cuneo Mia), Giuseppe Lauria (Lauria), Franco Civallero (Forza Italy), Mavy Civallero (SiAmo Cuneo), Massimo Garnero and Noemi Mallone (Giorgia Meloni – Fratelli d’Italia), Ugo Sturlese, Luciana Toselli and Aniello Fierro (Cuneo per i Bebi Comuni) and Valter Bongiovanni (Lega Salvini Piemonte).

This is the text of the proposed agenda: “Given that the Tettoia Vinaj-former Caserma Cantore infirmary affair was widely discussed in the municipal council meeting held on 27 and 28 May; the councilors who attended had asked: to meet the law firm appointed by the Municipality to follow the judicial dispute for the necessary updates; if the Municipality had decided to proceed, as required by the regulations and requested in the sessions of 29 and 30 April and 2 May last, with its own complaint to the Court of Auditors on possible fiscal damages; the convening of a specific Council Commission to discuss the management of the premises of the former infirmary of the Cantore Barracks. Considering that the City Council and the entire city only learned on May 29th through a newspaper that the administration had revoked the appointment of the Barosio law firm two weeks earlier; having noted that once again the mayor Manassero and the councilor Fantino have failed to inform the city council and the entire city in due time about the essential and important data of an increasingly serious matter; asks the president of the city council to urgently convene the Conference of Group Leaders and the Council Commission to access any useful information on the dispute and to consider the establishment of a specific Temporary Commission of inquiry into this matter”.
