The former coach of Juve Stabia, Benevento and Cosenza has the experience in the category that the club likes, also tempted to bet on the emerging Ignazio Abate, coming out of Milan’s youth team. Also in the notebook are Donati, Zaffaroni and Aquilani
REGGIO EMILIA – It will take a few more days to define the next coach of the Reggiana. After Alessandro Nesta’s farewell, towards Monza, the company is evaluating various profiles. The identikit is that of a young coach with experience already in the second national championship. Fabio Caserta in pole position: the 45-year-old has already accumulated several years in Serie B leading clubs with Juve Stabia, Benevento and Cosenzaas well as having hit the mark two promotions from Serie C to B with Perugia and Juve Stabia. The dialogue with the club is at an advanced stage and the contractual formula signed by Alessandro Nesta last year could be proposed for him again: agreement for one season, until 30 June 2025, with automatic renewal in case of salvation.
He is not the only name examined by the club: he is also on the list of technicians evaluated Roberto Bredain the last season at Ternana, and Alberto Aquilaniwhich has just ended its relationship with Pisa, and Massimo Donati.
