There will be all the elite of Italian uphill speed, as expected, to battle in the 73rd edition of the «Trento Bondone», scheduledbut Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th June.
The flow of registrations is moving quickly and the most important names on the national scene are already almost all on the list, but between now and Monday evening, when the stop on sending names comes into force, many drivers can still be added to the list compiled by Scuderia Trentina.
The race will award points for the new Italian elite championship of the specialtythe Supersalita, which includes the seven top Italian competitions, namely those of Erice and Fasano, already held, and those of Trento, Ascoli Piceno, Vallecamonica, Rieti and Gubbio, scheduled between June and September.

Our home race also assigns points for what has become the second national circuit, namely the Civm Nord, which instead brings together 18 competitions, four of which have already been archived, one canceled (the Sardinian San Gregorio – Burcei) and 13 to be contested, five of which are also part of the Supersalta.
Beyond the validity, what matters for the drivers, in the case of the «Trento Bondone», is above all being there, given that no other competition gives the possibility of facing such a route three times, two in practice and once in the race. long and fascinating, whose integrity this year too the organizing committee has managed to defend, firstly to preserve a tradition, secondly a long list of absolute, group and class records, which with an alteration of the route would end inevitably in the attic.
The big names in the general classification of the Supersalita have already secured a number to apply on the car Simone Faggioli, who will chase his 14th success in Vason, then Luigi Fazzino, Samuele Cassibba, Franco Caruso, Achille Lombardi and Giancarlo Maroni, the Trentinos Diego Degasperi, Thomas Pedrini, Nicola Grazioli, Matteo Moratelli and Gino Pedrotti.
As for Christian Merli, as is known he will be absent this time, because he is busy preparing for Pikes Peak, in Colorado.
The counter has already reached close to 250but the value of a race is not only measured by the absolute numbers, but also by the quality of the cars present, first of all the open-wheeled ones, which are around thirty, secondly the spectacular racing cars of the GT and GTS groups, the one of the various Ferraris, Porsches and Lamborghinis, which number around twenty.
Next week’s program will proceed at a rapid pace as usual: after registration closes, the official presentation of the three-day event is scheduled for Tuesday morning at Palazzo Geremia, Friday will be the usual time for technical and sporting checks, which will take place between the former Zuffo square and the adjacent Up Rent car park, on Saturday of the two timed practice sessions, starting at 9 am, on Sunday it will finally get serious: the race will start at 10 am.
On Saturday and Sunday the public will be able to access the track by purchasing a single ticket, valid for the entire weekend, the cost of which remains 20 euros. Children under the age of 16 enter for free.
