We receive and publish the contribution of a citizen of Como, a pensioner who lives in the Napoleona area and talks about the daily hardships. [Per contributi, segnalazioni, reazioni e opinioni: [email protected], il numero Whatsapp 348.6707422 o la pagina dei contatti].

Good morning,
Lately I have been reading with interest what citizens report to you on a daily basis. I’ll make sure I’m not too “whiny”. I live near Napoleona. This doesn’t mean that I want to make anyone weigh my choice, given that for various reasons, it was my choice. I don’t feel like a “bigot”, but I have some simple questions to ask.

All the traffic is fine, but what about all those cars and motorbikes that unexpectedly whiz by at excessive speeds, with a frightening noise, even at night? Because on top of all this, there are the noises of motorbikes being tested by nearby workshops…

I remember that once in Como war was declared against the “noisemakers”. You can also feel bad from noise pollution, and not just from air pollution. There has been a lot of talk about speed cameras, but can’t we start with some street patrols, and not just local police?

Last simple question: “Are we who live here second class people”?
Thanks and good job.
