Valentina Vadi, outgoing mayor of San Giovanni, is a candidate for the centre-left, supported by the Valentina Vadi Sindaca list, by the Democratic Party and by the Green Left Alliance.
What are the reasons that pushed you to take to the field again?
“Two mainly: on the one hand the request that came from the political party that has been supporting me for several years; on the other the desire and will to complete and conclude a series of projects that we have started in these five years, some of which have already been completed. From 2019 to 2024 we have done an important job of obtaining financing which, when added together, reaches 35 million euros”.
His priorities, in case of victory, in the first hundred days…
“We have done important work for this city and there is a step forward compared to the previous decade. We will focus first of all on the priorities that I have worked on in the past five years and which will allow us to see very important projects come to light. I think for example at the conclusion of the Borgo Arnolfo construction site, at the municipal theater, at the schools. Now a massive redevelopment of the historic center is needed”.
Why should the people of San Giovanna vote for it?
“I think that in these five years I have shown that I have cared about the San Giovannese community and that I have worked with commitment and dedication. The city is showing signs of recovery, we are at a turning point that will have to be accompanied in the coming years”.
