After the success and the 5000+ entries registered during the last year, the exhibition, in its fourth edition, presents itself as a photographic collective and as an incubator of ideas that embraces not only photography, but also other disciplines such as music, writing, dance and fashion. Stardust is the focus of the project and tells, through images, of all those daily life experiences that have formed us and shaped us, starting from the very material of which the stars are made, the same which is present in a physiological in our bodies. In fact, the expression “We are stardust” is not just a poetic way of saying, but describes the fact that most of the atoms present in the Universe and which make up living organisms originated in stars during their lives or during supernova explosions. “The nitrogen in our DNA, the calcium in our teeth, the iron in our blood and the carbon in our apple pie” said Sagan. We are deeply connected with everything around us, in a constant dynamic balance. And this is how STARDUST wants to make the visitor feel, immersing them in a regenerative sensorial experience, to regain contact with the wisdom of a wonderful microcosm called the body, to feel an integral part of the Universe and shine just like a bright star. The presence of 14 photographic projects, the work of the students of the workshop of the same name held by Mino Pasqualone in the months of March and April, is the beating heart of the exhibition, and narrates, in a poetic and personal way, the theme mentioned above. The official opening of the exhibition will take place on 7 June at 7pm and will be followed by a series of special events, including meetings with the artists, talks, dance performances, musical performances and interactive workshops.
Related events will offer participants the opportunity to delve deeper into their passions through practical sessions led by experts. Topics covered will include fashion, mental and physical well-being, meditation, physics and photography. “STARDUST” is therefore a unique opportunity to explore the power of images and human emotions, learn to tell stories and stimulate reflection on the universe and all the microcosms it contains.
