“Pinocchio” debuts in Ragusa starring the talented Marco Cappuzzello

Many more emotions with the GoDoT Company of Ragusa directed by Federica Bisegna and Vittorio Bonaccorso, who in recent days staged the end-of-course show of the baby and junior theater workshop groups. “Les folies du chef Francois. Crazy recipes” by Federica Bisegna, edited by Benedetta D’Amato with the collaboration of Alessandra Lelii and the supervision of Vittorio Bonaccorso, saw on stage Carlotta Armenia, Andrea Chessari, Marta Chessari, Leonardo Cilia, Emanuele Di Maria, Amelia Gurrieri, Emili Mankoli, Sara Mirabella, Aida Munda, Anna Nobile, Marta Falvia Pitarresi and Althea Ruta. Little budding actors who demonstrated all their skill and playful professional seriousness.

The junior theater course, developed throughout the entire year within the theater school, was experienced with great enthusiasm by the young students who participated consistently, experiencing moments of fun and leisure, learning the ability to face small challenges with creativity. and acquiring techniques that they can use in every area. The G.oD.oT Company boasts a long tradition of theatrical laboratory courses, and there have been many talents who have grown in over 16 years followed with professionalism and heart by Vittorio and Federica, careful guides on a path that finds in theatrical art a language capable of crossing transversal and universal themes.

Like the one chosen to conclude the senior course which from tonight will be staged with a much-anticipated debut “Pinocchio” by Carlo Collodi, adapted by Federica Bisegna and directed by Vittorio Bonaccorso. It goes on stage at the Maison GoDoT today 6 June and tomorrow 7 June at 8.30 pm, and again on Saturday 8th at 7.30 pm and Sunday 9th at 6.30 pm. A timeless story that talks about the struggle between good and evil, duty and pleasure, responsibility, growth. On stage the young, lively and talented actor Marco Cappuzzello will play the puppet who wants to become a child. Miriam Celestre, Ginevra Cilia, Francesco Cusumano, Alfredo Gurrieri, Andrea Lauretta, Anna Pacini, Althea Ruta, Mattia Zecchin, and Alessio Barone (who also takes care of the original music), Rossella Colucci, Alessandra Lelii and Lorenzo Pluchino will also share the stage with him . Pinocchio is an intergenerational story that explores deep and complex themes. Respecting its original essence, the interpreters will enrich it with new emotional nuances. The text on stage is in fact a very faithful adaptation of Collodi’s novel.

A show that closes the “Palchi Diversi” theater season and then passes the baton to the summer festival “Palchi Diversi at Castello di Donnafugata”. Meanwhile, last Monday, in the courtyard of the “Ecce Homo” school complex of the “Vann’Antò” Comprehensive Institute of Ragusa, the final show of the second edition of “We are the EartHeart”, a theatrical project sponsored by the Municipality of Ragusa, took place , Department of Education and Department of Social Services. The cultural integration laboratory, conducted with great skill by the tireless actors Alessio Barone, Benedetta D’Amato, Alessandra Lelii and Lorenzo Pluchino, saw the participation of many children and young people from different countries attending the Ibleo institute. An afternoon full of joy which once again demonstrated how theater has no boundaries, managing to overcome cultural, social and linguistic barriers and creating a safe space in which everyone can feel free.
