A weekend dedicated to Rino Gaetano, his music and his memories. But also of the many opportunities that come from searching for vinyl records from the past. The occasion, in a few days, with the “Great Record Fair”.
The singer-songwriter remembered 43 years after his death in the two days dedicated to the Record Fair
There Record fairorganized in collaboration with the Music Day of Rome, has reached its third edition and will take place at Parco Da Vinci in Fiumicino on the weekend of June 15th and 16th. On this occasion the reprint of the Rino Gaetano’s first album, “Ingresso libero”, released last May 30th in a special package edition 43 years after the singer’s death.
On the day of Saturday 15 June there will be exhibitors with many food proposalsrecords, CDs, posters, concert tickets, magazines, sheet music, vintage musical equipment. These are unique pieces that cannot be found on the market.
The program includes a meeting with Vittorio Centrone at 6pm, Lemuri the Visionary, finalist of The Voice Senior; followed by the concert of the band The Scousers, musical journey through the Beatles’ discography.
Sunday 16 Juneinstead, will be dedicated to Rino Gaetano, passed away on June 2, 1981. The presentation of “Free Entry” is scheduled for 6pm. It was his first LP. Some musicians who collaborated with him, his nephew Alessandro Gaetano and his sister Anna will be present.
There The record fair will close with the performance of Rino Gaetano Band, from 7pm, from 25 years unique official tribute band. We will therefore dance to the notes of the singer’s greatest musical successes, from “Gianna” to “But the sky is always bluer”, passing through “Nuntereggaepiù” to “Ahi Maria”.
The lineup is made up of Alessandro Gaetano (vocals, acoustic guitar and percussion), Ivan Almadori (vocals and acoustic guitar), Alberto Lombardi (electric guitar and backing vocals), Fabio Fraschini (bass), Marco Rovinelli (drums), Michele Amadori (keyboards and backing vocals).
