The progressive rise of the anticyclone has begun from the North African latitudes which will favor a stabilization of the weather also in Lombardy and a gradual increase in temperatures, so much so that we will be able to enjoy the first summer heat wave of the season. Conditions in the next few days will be characterized by the prevalence of good weather, although during the afternoon hours there will be the usual development of cumulus clouds near the Alpine mountains, which may lead to some showers or brief heat storms, which will fade away during the evening. Temperatures will increase day by day and the peak of the heat is expected between Friday and Saturday, when maximum values may reach and locally exceed 30°C. In particularin Lecco and Como maximum temperatures of 27/28°C are expected, in Monza 28/29°C, in Milan 29/30°C, in Brescia 30/31°C. However, between the afternoon and evening of Saturday, the Alps will see increasing instability, with some showers that could spill over into the adjacent lowland areas. On Sunday, however, a disturbance arriving from the west will lead to a clear reversal of the trend, with the return of rain and thunderstorms, even of strong intensity, and with a drop in temperatures.
