Vigevano (Pavia) – He shot two shots towards the neighbor and then he barricaded himself in the courtyard asking to speak to a soldier he knows and trusts. They were instants of great tension because the Albanian was clearly out of control. The carabinieri of the mobile radio unit of the Vigevano Company, the soldiers of the station and the staff of the police station took steps to isolate the area by blocking traffic along via Gravellona as a precaution, which is also very busy during rush hour. It was at that moment that the Albanian specifically asked to speak with a soldier from the operational unit, refusing to deal with others. The policeman was tracked down by his colleagues and when he arrived on site, within a few minutes, he convinced the man to surrender. In the meantime, the injured man was rescued and transported, aboard an ambulance from the Croce Azzurra di Robbio, to the San Matteo polyclinic in Pavia where he was hospitalized under yellow code. His conditions, in just one case, turned out not to be serious, so much so that the man has already been discharged with a prognosis of 21 days.
The police of the operational section who carried out the investigations on the spot found the shells of the two exploded shots plus another seven unexploded cartridges found on the road as well as a further shot still inserted in the magazine. All the material was seized and the forty-eight year old Albanian was arrested for the crime of attempted murder; he will also have to answer for the illegal possession of the weapon he used. Already in the evening he was transferred to prison in Pavia. It still remains to be understood in detail why the altercation between the two broke out, certainly caused by very serious causes if the Albanian decided to resolve the issue with gunshots.
