LEGNANO – The GS Fo.Co.L Volley Legnano Company is pleased to announce the name of new coach who will lead the first team in the season 2024/2025: it’s about Luciano Pedullaone of the best-known faces in the Italian and international volleyball scene.
The curriculum of Coach Pedullawho at the same time will also carry out the role of Director Technicianspeaks for itself: a winning career, with numerous trophies raised to the sky, like the Europeans Under19 won with theItaly in 2004, the European Silver League with the Romania in 2019, just to mention some successes with national teams, while in Italy, where he led several top clubs, he triumphed in every category, winning the championship twice Cup Italy Of Series A2 with AGIL Novara And Sassuolo (and hitting two promotions to A1), one Cup Italy Of A1always with theAGILand also establishing itself internationally with the Cup Cev won with theAsystel Novara.
The “Professor”, as he is nicknamed due to his scholastic vocation, given that he has always taught Education Physics in high schools and today he is a University Professor in Faculty Of Motor Scienceshas cemented its experience by updating itself daily, growing from year to year and taking advantage of every experience, including Chieri, Forlì, Pesaro, Monza, Wedgeand in between, as well as Italy Under19 And Under20 And Romaniaalso an experience driving the National German.
A very high level profile for a Fo.Co.L that aims high and that is deeply proud to be able to boast of a person of such depth as Luciano Pedulla at the head of his own volleyball movement.
Luciano Pedullà’s experience and daily hunger for volleyball make him the right person to entrust not only with the leadership of B1 but also with the role of Director Technical, in order to give a sense of continuity to all red and white volleyball, from Minivolley to Under18.
Who is the Luciano Pedullà that the red and white fans will find in the gym?
“A person who has always had a great passion for volleyball, who continues to keep it alive. I like to keep myself updated on all the characteristics of the work, the methodology, the game, to be applied to the growth of talents, from the youngest to the less young”
“I have always had the opportunity to have my enthusiasm reciprocated by the people I worked with in the gym, certainly sometimes with mixed success but volleyball has given me a lot and I am still ready to give a lot in turn”
Coach Pedullà’s CV practically speaks for itself, you are a coach of the highest caliber, what convinced you to embrace the Fo.Co.L project?
“I already knew Manuel Marigliano, the Sports Director, and he infected me with his enthusiasm. Enthusiasm that I found in all of you, the first time we spoke to each other: I found a lively, interesting environment that has grown over the years. I have followed the events of Fo.Co.L in recent seasons and I have seen the growth, on the field and in personality, of the team and the club, which in the meantime has involved important people, and that is important. Fo.Co.L is a historic company, which has always played in certain categories, the leap in recent years with the triple promotion from C to A2 makes it clear that we work in a certain way and that we can carry out good work with enthusiasm”
The double role of Head Coach of the first team and Technical Director makes it clear that synergy with the youth sector is fundamental
“And the first is the easiest, because it’s one thing to coach a first team, another to manage and build a youth sector, which takes years of planning. This is why it is important to work in a certain direction, with consistency, commitment, with a strong company behind us, with certain numbers, to emerge and achieve something positive. Here there is a desire to do, so I will carry out the double role with great enthusiasm!”
