“Puglia Easy to Reach”, connections between airports, stations, tourist destinations and UNESCO sites will be active from 8 June

The Province of Foggia has authorized the activation of the Puglia Easy to Reach seasonal public transport services, which from Saturday 8 June will guarantee the daily direct connection between the municipalities of Peschici, Vieste, Mattinata, Manfredonia, Zapponeta, Margherita di Savoia, Barletta, Trani and the UNESCO site Castel del Monte with the Gino Lisa airports in Foggia and Karol Wojtyla airports in Bari.

THE CONNECTIONS. Puglia Easy To Reach was born from the evolution of the Gargano Easy to Reach program, assessed as an ‘effective form of integrated mobility in the Foggia area’, to strengthen and encourage connections between airports, stations, tourist destinations and UNESCO sites throughout the region , to promote the area and its riches, serving not only commuters but anyone who wants to travel to Puglia.

TOURISTS. “It has been understood – commented the Councilor for Transport and Sustainable Mobility of the Puglia Region Debora Ciliento – that making airports more accessible makes them more attractive in the eyes of both foreign tourists, who have the possibility of moving easily to reach the places of interest, than for the people of Puglia themselves, who don’t have to worry about where to leave their private car for the duration of a trip”.

THE TIMES. The services, designed according to the actual operation of the destination airports, in combination with the timetables of the Foggia-Foggia Airport-Cerignola-Bari Airport line, will be guaranteed in the province of Foggia by CO.TR.AP-Metauro Bus, according to the timetables advertised on the site www.metaurobus.it.
