Sassari In recent days the police commissioner of Sassari Claudio Sanfilippo issued a provision against the owner of a club located in the historic city centre thirty day suspension (pursuant to article 100 of the Consolidated Law on Public Security) of the license relating to the management of the same business, with consequent closure of the premises for the entire duration of the provision.
In particular, during a service carried out by personnel of the Administrative and Social Police Division, following a search, three bottles of methadone of illicit origin hidden in various places, packaging material, some syringes used and a small amount of cutting substance. In the past the place had already been subject to checks by the police as it was habitually frequented by criminals who had created disturbances on several occasions. The latest episode was the attack on a non-EU citizen following which the business was closed for 15 days. Another time it was ascertained that the owner had also allowed access to non-member customers and was not in compliance with numerous administrative requirements according to sector regulations.
