The funeral home for Bianca Doros and Patrizia Cormos was opened today in the Mansutti Funeral Home in the urban cemetery of San Vito in Udine. The two girls disappeared in the flood of the Natisone near the Roman Bridge of Premariacco on May 31st and their bodies were recovered on June 2nd. Cristian, the 25-year-old young man who was with them and whose searches continue unabated, is still missing. The Udine Public Prosecutor’s Office has opened an investigation into the tragedy for manslaughter.
Many paid tribute to the girls
The family members of the two young women, both of Romanian origin, arrived at the funeral home and were welcomed by the prefect and police commissioner of Udine and by the provincial commanders of the Carabinieri and the Guardia di Finanza. The two girls were dressed as weddings according to the tradition of their country of origin. Many citizens have already visited the funeral home where the young women will remain until tomorrow at 4pm when a moment of prayer will be celebrated by two priests, one Orthodox and one Catholic. The mayor of Udine, Alberto Felice De Toni, is expected to arrive in the morning to say hello.
