The 25-year-old Scandinavian, who arrived in the city of Verona in 2020, was among the protagonists of the first two years of Verona Volley’s life.
Born in 1999, 211 centimetres, Jensen grew up in his homeland, in Gentofte Volley and from the youth team he quickly made the leap to the first team in the role of setter, before crossing the Atlantic to go to the United States to join the UCLA collegiate team , which participates in the top American university championship. In 2020 he landed at the foot of the Arena, then confirmed in the following two years with the birth of Verona Volley, with which he achieved salvation and came close to reaching a Scudetto semi-final.
Subsequently, the transfer to Cuneo, where he stood out as one of the top scorers of the Serie A2 tournament, with peaks of 31 points in a single match, so much so that he ended the year as the fourth best scorer, among all competitions, with 659 ground balls, and second in number of winning attacks. With the Danish national team, however, he won the European Silver League in 2021, of which he was MVP.
The native of Copenhagen expressed his love for the city of Verona and for the Verona club: “There is great satisfaction on my part, because I sensed the club’s desire to still have me on the roster.
