“A tool for knowing, understanding and living better with your dog”: this is the title of the free training course dedicated to owners and future owners of dogs who are
will be held next 8 and 15 June in the Tortolì town hall. The course is organized by the SC of Hygiene of livestock and livestock production of the Local health authority Ogliastrain collaboration with the municipality of Tortolì and theProfessional association of veterinary doctors of the province of Nuoro.
The course is open to all citizens and is aimed not only at individuals, but also at families. Anyone who owns a dog can participate or intend to adopt one or simply, are interested in the topic. Attendance of the course is mandatory for subjects reported by the Ogliastra Local Health Authority as owners of dogs who have been responsible for episodes of aggression and to whom the Local Health Authority has notified the obligation to attend. «It is very important that this course is attended by those who own dogs of Molossoid breeds or who in any case have manifested behavioral problems over time» – explains Virgilio Congiu, director of the SC of Hygiene of livestock and livestock production.
THEThe course is divided into five teaching sessions for a total of 16 hours of lessons, to be held on two separate days (8 and 15 June), with hours from 08.30 to 13.30 and from 15 to 19.30 on each of the two days. To register you must complete the appropriate form to which a photocopy of a valid identification document must be attached. The form is available in the offices of the Veterinary Services of the ASL (in Tortolì in via Campidano 2 and Lanusei, in viale Don Bosco, 28) in the headquarters of the municipality of Tortolì, or on the ASL website
