Maurizio Mirarchi it’s the new one trainer Of Trieste. The halberd club today made official the hiring of the 63-year-old fresh from the direct salvation obtained with theAstra Rome, one of the most surprising results in a long and satisfying career, which saw him involved on the benches of Lazio, Bogliasco, Acquachiara and Messina (in women’s A1). Mirarchi is currently the technical coordinator of the female youth sector of the Federnuotoas well as the federal technician of theItaly U19 women who will take part in the U19 European Championships in Zagreb this summer.

Mirarchi signed a two-year contract with option for third year with President Enrico’s club Samerthe objective is to start a new cycle after the 8th place this season and make the connection between the first team and the youth sector and, therefore, with the territory: this is how the Julian club’s choice to part with 6 members of the roster, all not from Trieste (Ivan Buljubasic, Giacomo Bini, Mislav Vrlic, Giuseppe Valentino, Marin Dasic and Enrico Caruso) should be read.
“When the possibility of coming to Water Polo Trieste arose, I accepted without hesitation – explains Mirarchi in the press release released by Trieste -. I have faced this team many times as an opponent and they have always impressed me. The company is undoubtedly one of the best on the scene, attentive to detail, in just a few years it has carved out an important space for itself, even coming close to a championship final. A long-term project awaits us, the objective will be to get as high as possible while at the same time trying to enhance the youth’s athletes, an authentic added value for any club that looks into the future. I will bring my mentality, I prefer aggressive, dynamic water polo, made up of high rhythms and speed in transitions”.
“We start again with a coach of enormous experience – the comment of the general director of the club Andrea Brazzatti – who manages to make the athletes he has available perform at their best and who knows how to cultivate the talent of the youngest. We are very happy to have him with us, there is a lot of work to do, we will tackle it with great enthusiasm.”
