The meeting and the very tempting offer, but the money from the transfer does not arrive, the stolen camper is found in Romania

He had been thinking about putting his camper up for sale for some time, and so Giovanni, resident in a hilly town in the Rubicone, when he found an advertising note on the glass of his car from a man who offers to buy used vehicles, thought it was the time has come.

So he called the number on the card: a man answered, claiming to be Giorgio, who a few minutes later had Mario contact him. He arranged an appointment with them on the street to view the vehicle. Mario and Marilena showed up for the appointment: well dressed, large-engined car, well-groomed appearance. Having seen the camper, they offered Giovanni a sum for the purchase considered very good (several tens of thousands of euros) and agreed to proceed immediately with the sale. All three then went to a car processing agency and when signing the deed of sale Marilena showed the bank transfer of the agreed sum on her phone and then Giovanni gave her the keys to the camper. The couple was really very kind, so much so that she accompanied Giovanni home while chatting amiably.

Then the bad surprise: no credit to the current account. After a few days in which the buyers made various excuses on the phone as to the reason for the delay in transferring the sum, Giovanni, still not receiving a single euro, began to no longer get answers to his phone calls. In fact he is actually blocked.

Giovanni is desperate and meets a local police officer from the Rubicone and Mare Union, to whom he tells the story. He is invited to report the incident, which he does at the local police offices in Savignano. An investigative activity was thus launched which quickly led to the reporting to the judicial authorities of Giorgio, Mario and Marilena, Romanians living in Romagna.

A few days ago then the good news: thanks to international police cooperation, Giovanni was informed that the camper had been found and seized by the Romanian police and he will therefore be able to regain possession of it. Sometimes misadventures can have a happy ending.
