After a few weeks the decision arrived Sports Judge regarding the events that occurred during the match between Picerno and Crotone, first round of the group stage of the Playoffs Serie C. The Crotonebeaten 2-0 by Picerno, was heavily contested by the fans with the players being pressured to take off their shirts and leave them on the ground, at the foot of the away section.
Having examined the facts, the Sports Judge decided to sanction the players who agreed to satisfy the fans’ request, inhibiting the SLO, or rather the Club’s delegate for relations with the fans, for having allowed this gesture.
Crotone players fined
Following the events that occurred at the “Curcio” in Picerno, the decisions of the Sports Judge arrived. Members who removed their shirts were sanctioned with a fine of 500 euros. They are D’Alterio, Gigliotti, Gomez, Vinicius, Loiacono, Tribuzzi, Tumminello, Dini, Felippe, Comi, Zanellato, Kostadinov, D’Errico, Cantisani and Rispoli.
In addition to the damage to Crotone’s image, the insult also came. For SLO Antonio Zizza, however, the inhibition has arrived to hold federal positions and to represent the company in the federal sphere until 1 July 2024.
Picerno fatal for Crotone
The match in Picerno represented the last act of a season that started badly and ended worse for Crotone.
