The photograph returned by the Postal Police which shows more than three out of 10 young people, victims of harassment and gratuitous aggression, requires educational communities to combine educational and laboratory activities with awareness-raising courses on the risks faced online and on the social implications of the phenomenon , both for those who suffer and for those who become protagonists.

This is what the head teacher Saverio Madera declared while speaking during the new and well-attended event hosted in recent days in the Aula Magna of the Majorana Industrial Technical Institute in the presence of the inspector of the State Police, responsible for the Postal Police and communications section of Cosenza Fabio Ferraro.

The latter discussed in an animated face-to-face meeting with the students the effects of this type of violence which undermines the self-esteem and trust of those who suffer it, but also the consequences that can be faced. In recent days, as is known, a 14-year-old student was warned by the judge who sentenced his parents to pay a fine for failing to supervise the minor.

Coordinated by teacher Stefania Romanello, all the two-year industrial (ITI) and agricultural (ITA) classes participated in the meeting, demonstrating interest, attention and curiosity, asking questions and engaging with the expert and guest.

It was – concluded Madera, thanking teachers and students for sharing – another beautiful page and lesson in civic education and extra-curricular training within the framework of that daily pedagogical commitment to which we attach crucial importance and which our entire community interprets , each in their own role, with a great sense of responsibility
