On the occasion of the European elections scheduled for 8 and 9 June, the Municipality of Vicenza is making a series of services available to citizens to facilitate voting.

Following the reorganization of the polling stations which took place at the end of 2023, all the people interested in the change of location (around 18 thousand citizens) received the letter with the update slip to be placed on the electoral card.

To make it easier for citizens to find their polling station, if they have not yet received or have not kept the letter, on the website of the Municipality of Vicenza it is possible to use the new search engine “Find the polling station”: by entering your address and the house number, the polling station where you will vote will be indicated.

The service has already been used almost 800 times since its launch: 40 in April, 622 in May and 122 in these first days of June.

The service is available at the following link: https://www.comune.vicenza.it/servizi/elezioni/seggio.php

A useful service is also available to obtain a replacement certificate for the electoral card. The voter can conveniently print from the Municipality’s website, through the SPID or the CIE (electronic identity card), the certificate in lieu of their electoral card to present directly at the polling station, without going to the electoral office for issue or the renewal. The service is not active for Aire citizens and for citizens registered on the electoral lists after 9 May 2024.

Finally, the Municipality of Vicenza offers citizens with certified walking difficulties a free transport service to the polling stations with a vehicle equipped with a mobile platform for wheelchairs. The service must be booked by calling social services from Monday to Friday, until 7 June, from 9am to 12pm, by calling 0444 222517, or 3497453881 (no messages), or by sending an email to [email protected] also on the same days as Saturday 8 June, from 9am to 7pm, and Sunday 9 June, from 9am to 7pm.
