“The second CT scan is finally active. Now the Modica hospital is the only one in the province to have two perfectly functioning latest generation CT machines.” Thus the Honorable Ignazio Abbate (in the photo) comments on the conclusion of the bureaucratic process with the delivery of Scia to the firefighters by the company Technical Service which from today makes the machinery supplied to the emergency department usable.

It is clear that the benefits of a second device will be enormous, starting from the elimination of the long waiting lists that have formed but also in dealing with emergency/urgency cases. It is clear to everyone how the Nino Baglieri Hospital is growing more and more in recent years both in terms of technical equipment and staff. In particular, in the Modica hospital there are some truly excellent Sicilian medicine workers who deserve to be valorised and which make it a center of excellence in the regional panorama. The objective we are working on is precisely this: to increase the staff, medical and otherwise, to offer a cutting-edge service to patients”.
