Civitavecchia 3 days of events, dedicated to the Navy –
Civitavecchia will be at the center of three days of great charm. On the occasion of Navy Day, scheduled for June 10th, the city will in fact be the setting for a packed program of events all dedicated to the Italian armed force and its relationship with the sea.
The celebrations will start on Saturday 8 June, with the setting up of the Marina Promotional Village on Piazza della Vita. The exhibition, full of curiosities and peculiarities for enthusiasts and non-enthusiasts, will be open from 10am to 8pm also on Sunday and Monday.
The appointment on Sunday evening is particularly eagerly awaited, when the Navy Band will perform in Piazza della Vita, in a musical journey that will accompany the public through film soundtracks and other highly fascinating arias. The concert will be free and will start at 9pm.
Finally, on Monday 10 June, the actual ceremony with which Navy Day will be celebrated will take place on the Molo del Bicchiere, starting at 10.30 am, in the presence of the civil and military authorities.
On 8 and 9 June it will also be possible to visit the military units that will be moored inside the port of Civitavecchia.
The municipal administration, in thanking the Navy for the event of great importance, invites citizens and tourists to the various events included in the program.
