LECCE – To the interest in Dorgu from Juventus, Milan and above all Napoli (albeit without formal requests from the clubs) and to that for Falcone from Roma (in pole position), Fioretina and recently also Parma; that for Gendrey would have been added by Roma and also by Napoli (the latter would have accelerated compared to the Capitoline club in recent weeks)
The Lecce right-back, among those with the best performance of the season, could leave for other shores. Indeed, the rumors speak of a more than probable departure.
The same prosecutor had declared in January that the boy would not move from Lecce and that any offers or the start of negotiations would be taken into consideration with the Giallorossi club in June.
Gendrey, a French national, born in 2000, played 37 games (92%) in the season just ended, scoring 2 goals and providing 3 assists. His market value is 4.5 million euros and he has a contract with Lecce expiring on 30 June 2026, with a one-year renewal option.
The twenty-three year old winger is liked by many clubs both in Italy and abroad; and considering Lecce’s objective, which is to be sustainable and remain in order, if a great offer arrives capable of satisfying Lecce; in all likelihood it will be taken into consideration by the director of the technical area Pantaleo Corvino and the sports director Stefano Trinchera.
