“Samnites HC 2.0-Liber Hortus, reading in Benevento”: the awards ceremony

Wednesday 5 June, at 4.30 pm, in the evocative setting of theHortus Conclusus of Benevento, the awards ceremony for the winners of the city contest will be held “Samnites HC 2.0 – Liber Hortus, reading in Benevento”. This event will precede the announcement of the finalists of the prestigious 2024 Strega Prize, scheduled for 6.30 pm at the Roman Theater of Benevento.

The contest, which had as its object reading aloud, was created as part of the “ascuoladiopencoesione” project, which aims to promote civic monitoring and cohesion policies in Italian schools. The students of the ITI G. Bosco Lucarelli of Benevento participated with the Samnites.hc2.0 team, monitoring the project relating to the Hortus Conclusus. Thanks to their commitment, they ranked first in the Campania Region, also obtaining the highest score at a national level.

The “ascuoladiopencoesione” project is an initiative that involves schools in civic monitoring activities, allowing students to investigate and evaluate the effectiveness of cohesion policies in the area. This educational approach aims to develop active citizenship skills, promoting transparency and public participation.

At the closing ceremony, the five works that stood out for their consistency with the criteria of the competition notice will be rewarded. The ceremony will see the participation of illustrious guests:
