The week seems to have begun with one certainty: the choice of the retreat location. Then in the late afternoon the half braking. Let’s rewind the tape: from Cosenza football, the Province of Cosenza had been asked for written and signed assurance that the Lorica pitch would be available for the first week of July. And it seems that silence has fallen from the upper floors of Piazza XV Marzo. It would be difficult to find someone who would take on such a responsibility.
In the meantime, work had been underway for days for Umbria, specifically Cascia in the structure where Ternana held its training camp last year. But initially the deadline was given until last Saturday, June 1st. But thanks to the “diplomatic” work of Via degli Stadi it was possible to postpone the deadline to today, Monday 3 June. And it seemed that the club’s press release was already ready to announce the date and location of the training camp.
Then in the late afternoon the phone call which suddenly reopened Lorica’s possibility. Therefore the managers of the Cascia facility were asked to postpone the situation by a further few hours. So we are at the final choice: Cascia, or Lorica? It seems to be understood that by tomorrow, Tuesday 4 June, Umbria awaits the definitive communication.
