Fire in San Giorgio su Legnano

The toll of the fire in an apartment in a two-storey building in via Conte di Cavour comma at number 17, which also involved the roof, is one person injured. a 41-year-old man was saved and transported under yellow code to the emergency room of the Legnano hospital.

Around 3.30pm this afternoon the firefighters and Red Cross ambulance rescuers rushed to via Cavour 17 where a building on fire had been reported. The tall tongues of fire reached the roof. The 41-year-old breathed in the combustion fumes and risked suffocating. No one else was involved in the fire and, shortly afterwards, the firefighters put out the flames.

The rescue

The provincial command sent six vehicles and several personnel to the scene to quickly put out the flames. now the firefighters are proceeding with the reclamation of the area and the static verification of the building, and in the meantime they will also carry out the investigations necessary to establish the reason why the building caught fire.
