Laura Franceschini is a Lioness

Millenium Brescia completes the central department with the very young and talented Laura Franceschini, arriving from Volleyrò Casal De’ Pazzi with whom, in the last season, she won the Under 18 silver medal at the National Youth Finals, being among the best of the competition. Born on 17 October 2006 in Rieti, Laura Franceschini began her volleyball career in her native land, and then embarked on the Roman adventure at Volleyrò Casal De Pazzi in the 2019/2020 season.

In 2022, after participating in the national club finals, in which she won the silver medal and was awarded as the best central defender of the tournament, she embarked on the adventure in the European Under 17 Women’s Championships in the Czech Republic, winning the gold medal thanks to a 3-1 victory over Turkey. Thanks to her success with the Lazio team and with the Italians, she also receives recognition from the Lazio Region. Also in 2023 she will wear the colors of the national team: she has been called up to the pre-junior national team, she will represent Italy in the European Youth Olympic Festival.

In the last season, still with Volleyrò, he played in the national finals and, after the defeat in the tie break against Imoco Volley, he finished on the second step of the podium. Now she is ready to embark on the new adventure in Millenium, with which she will make her debut in Serie A2.
