Sancat Firenze, with the colors of the San Domenico district, won the eighth edition of Tournament of the Contrade of the Palio of Legnano. The Legnano Basket event was also successful this year and saw the participation of numerous clubs from all over Italy and beyond. On the last day of competition the two final rankings were drawn up and the individual prizes were also awarded after three days in which 44 matches were played with 234 players involved.
Born as an 8-team tournament, in this edition the Knights who have been organizing this event for years broke all records. With the qualifying tournament, 24 teams + 16 participated globally in the 2024 tournament, with over 400 kids from 2013 and 2014 involved. 6 Italian regions and 4 European nations were represented for a total of over 70 matches played in 5 days in 6 city gyms.

In addition to these 8, participation is also guaranteed to the team that won the Provaccia tournament (Pall. Cantù) and to the one that won won the “Spirito Del Palio – Barbara Costa” award (Granada)».
