In Legnano at the Associarma building, Piazza Medaglie d’Oro, on Saturday 15 June, at 9pm, the meeting with Toni Fogliani “Leo 8” will be held at the event The road to Starfighter.
At the event organized by Associarma Legnano and AAA Saronno, in collaboration with Amici del Reparto Sperimentale di Volo, Fogliani will talk about how one had to take the course to become pilots on the legendary F-104 “Starfighter”.
Toni Fogliani, former operational pilot of our Air Force on F-104 and TF-104 with 3500 flight hours, was an instructor at the 20th OCU Group (Operational Conversion Unit) for eight years. The 20th Group belongs to the 4th Wing of the Air Force, with the mission of training pilots assigned to the Fighter line and is based at the “Corrado Baccarini” Airport in Grosseto.
