In the splendid scenery of the Apuan hinterland of S. Carlo Terme in Massa, the 2nd edition of the time trial from Massa to S. Carlo took place over a distance of 5.7 km, perfectly organized by the Gas Runners of Massa. The GP PARCO ALPI APUANE won the team classification by placing Nicola Vanni in 3rd place overall in 22’03” and the returning Mirco Pierotti in 5th in 22’15”. Diego Giannini of ASD Strazzano wins the men’s race in 21’46”. The women’s performance by Andrea Salas Bernaditta was impressive, finishing in 25’52” and keeping the race uncertain until the climb of the young Laura Sbrana of GS Le Sbarre di Pisa who won the race in 25’39”. Jonatan Toni won the senior men category in 22’43”, Marco Osimanti won in the silver category in 26’31” and Fabrizio Santi won in the gold category in 28′ 49”. The category podiums were completed by Dario Anaclerio 3rd in the senior category and Franco Cusinato 2nd in the silver category. Good performances in the order of Davide Pruno, Damiano Lippi, Maurizio Pierotti, Manuel Tilocca, Marco Mattei, Gino Cappelli, Fabio Belletti, Arturo Sargenti, Mauro Matteucci, Paola Lazzini and Federica Pardini. This excellent result bodes well for Apaune for next Sunday’s important event with the 22nd edition of the Climb to the Alpe di S.Pellegrino.
