The Carabinieri of the Radiomobile Section of Cremona have reported a 23-year-old young man with a criminal record for refusing to undergo a drug use test by someone driving a vehicle.

On the evening of June 1st, around 11pm, a Radiomobile patrol was in via Cadore and noticed a suspicious car with only the driver on board. The man had a dangerous driving behaviour, because at intersections he made sudden maneuvers and had a high speed due to the road and traffic conditions. The car was reached and blocked and the driver was identified as the 23-year-old who, during the check, was particularly euphoric, showing clear and evident symptoms of recent drug intake, taking into account his state of alteration and his physical condition overall. The military, having verified that he had not drunk alcohol, invited the driver to go with them to a health facility for tests. The man agreed to go to hospital, but when it was time to take samples for subsequent tests, he refused to follow up with the tests.

As a result, the Radiomobile military reported the 23-year-old for refusing to take a drug test and his driving license was immediately withdrawn, while the car was handed over to the owner.
