“Formation of a not very deep pressure minimum on the Tyrrhenian Sea, subsequently moving east; between Monday and Tuesday flow rotating from the northwest, but with a prevalent cyclonic curvature“: these are the forecast for the Lombardy reported in the usual bulletin Harp regional. Today “new disturbed passage from late morning onwards, with associated downpours or thunderstorms; greater involvement of the plain and Apennine areas. On Monday afternoon showers or thunderstorms mostly limited to the reliefs, while Tuesday precipitation tends to spread over the territory. Subsequently a pause in rainfall is emerging, expected again towards the end of the week, but the trend is not very predictable“.
Today towards the end of the morning, showers and thunderstorms in the Oltrepò Pavese and some isolated phenomena in the eastern pre-Alpine belt; from the afternoon scattered precipitation on the plains and Pre-Alps, mainly showers and thunderstorms, which will end during the following night.
Temperatures: minimums stationary or slightly increasing, maximums significantly decreasing. In the plains values respectively between 14 and 17 °C and between 20 and 25 °C.
Thermal zero: between 2500 and 3000 meters.
Winds: mostly weak southerly everywhere, with some strengthening on the foothills in the afternoon.
As regards the weather forecast for the day in detail Tomorrowthe bulletin of Harp Lombardy it reports little cloudiness in the morning due to haze, with mists and low clouds remaining from the night on the lower plain; in the afternoon high clouds passing over the plains and moderate cumulus formation in the mountains.
Precipitation: during the night showers in the western sectors and on the central-eastern lowland; then scattered thunderstorms and showers in the afternoon over the Prealps and Apennines. Precipitation phenomena are less likely elsewhere, but some showers or drizzle cannot be ruled out between late morning and afternoon on the foothills.
Temperatures: minimums stationary or slightly decreasing, maximums increasing. In the plains values around 16 and 25°C respectively.
Thermal zero: around 3200 meters.
Winds: mostly weak or at times moderate, mainly coming from the west or north.
