The summer transfer market in Serie A2 is starting to move. The first official announcements have arrived (Brindisi has signed Niccolò De Vico and Andrea Calzavara), the rumors continue and even Forlì, having put aside the bitterness of the elimination from the playoffs, is preparing its first moves. Approaches and surveys in search of new additions, but also and above all ‘chat’ with the protagonists of the last season to find out their intentions and understand if the relationship can continue.

The name on which the spotlight is focused is undoubtedly that of Federico Zampini. The class of ’99 was the great revelation of the last year, author of an over the top championship after a career dotted with continuous injuries and stops. Zampini found great continuity in his performances, to the point of attracting the attention of several clubs even from upstairs. He is linked to the 2015 Basketball team by a two-year contract, expiring therefore in June 2025, but with an escape in the event of a call from Serie A.

Forlì, naturally, is waiting for nothing but his confirmation. But he has to watch his back from two very aggressive clubs: Treviso and Vanoli Cremona. The Venetians are looking for an alter ego of Zanelli, while Demis Cavina’s team has said goodbye to Denegri (he went to Tortona) and would gladly replicate Adrian’s ‘theft’ of twelve months ago. Treviso currently appears to be slightly favored in the race for Zampini, but any scenario is still possible, including staying in Romagna. The player’s final decision is expected to arrive in the next seven days.

In the event that Federico leaves the company, Unieuro will have to look around and look for a replacement for the play-guard. To which a further role will then have to be added, also considering the departure of Fabio Valentini (headed for Turin?). And it is precisely in the external department, according to rumors, that the club’s greatest attention is concentrated at the moment. Thus, Forlì would have targeted Diego Monaldi, born in ’93 and with a long experience in Serie A2 (he signed the recent promotions of Napoli and Scafati) leaving Udine. However, there is no shortage of competition: above all Real Sebastiani Rieti, who seems to have the advantage. There the player would meet coach Alessandro Rossi again.

In short, Zampini’s stay is the first real issue to be resolved in the Forlì summer. In cascade he will then probably make up the Forlì external department, at least in his technical physiognomy.

As for the big men, the confirmation of Davide Pascolo (in light of Daniele Magro’s contract) should be evaluated, as well as that of captain Daniele Cinciarini. There is no shortage of offers for both. Finally, Andrea Fabrizi chapter: coach Martino’s assistant has already declined the offer of head coach in Ravenna: barring any surprises, he will remain on the Unieuro bench.
