With the tents removed in Pozzuoli, the city puts the seismic crisis behind it «A return to normality» – Cronaca Flegrea

POZZUOLI – The tents have been dismantled from the reception points created in the city of Pozzuoli after the strong earthquake swarm two weeks ago. On Saturday morning, Civil Protection volunteers removed the tent cities from Piazza a mare, via Napoli, Largo Palazzine, Toiano and via Vecchia San Gennaro, thus restoring a semblance of normality. The action was carried out by volunteers who in recent weeks have come to Pozzuoli from all over Italy to provide support to the population. Only the Hub created at Pala Trincone in Monterusciello remains active where around twenty people found hospitality

THE DATA – So far 258 families have been registered, of these 74 (178 people) have refused temporary accommodation, while 50 families (133 people) have accepted and are staying in hotel facilities. Finally, 23 families (47 people) requested only the economic contribution, which is currently not available.

THE SATISFACTION«Away with the curtains from Pozzuoli, our request has been heard. – the councilor for productive activities Titti Zazzaro announced in the evening that during the week he had asked for the removal of the tents – This represents an important return to normality, hoping that there is no longer any need. Our city is more alive than ever.”
