at the Giardinello complex many socio-environmental initiatives

In the months of April and May many initiatives were carried out at the “Maria Boschetti Alberti” Primary School in the Giardinello district, in Marsala. A complex with 5 primary classes which is part of the “Sturzo-Asta” Comprehensive Institute directed by Anna Maria Alagna who spends a lot on the territory. The teachers involved the students of all classes in special and very interesting days. As for the Autism Awareness Daywhich is celebrated on April 15, in which the young students performed in a flashmob entitled “The thousand blue bubbles” involving parents. After reciting some passages, the children prepared posters depicting famous people who, despite having an autism spectrum disorder, have left an indelible mark of progress in various social and scientific fields. “We have learned how important it is to be kind and help all our friends who need a little extra support to fully integrate into any social context” is the message sent by the students.

For the Earth Day instead, everyone at the Park with the Sutana Committee and the Agro-Forestry Guards to plant trees and sing themed songs, while for the World Bee Day, on May 20th, decorations were made with recycled material while the students tried their hand at the play “Let’s save the bees!” to understand the importance of safeguarding this insect for the entire planet. Finally everyone on stage with the musical “Grease” to greet the students of the fifth class.
