The “Alé!” project is active in the Piana area of ​​Lucca. 2024” – Still Summer 2024” which offers fun summer experiences for young people with disabilities. All the planned activities were presented during an Open Day which took place on Friday 24 May at the headquarters of the Fondazione per la Coesione Sociale Onlus, in the San Micheletto complex in Lucca.

The initiative was attended by family members and young people interested in registering for the project’s activities, carried out in co-planning by the District Area of ​​Lucca, by the Municipalities of the territorial area with the partnership and support of third sector associations and bodies.

Citizens were therefore able to speak with representatives of the associations and partner bodies that propose the activities, collect information and clarify any doubts. The District Area staff was also present.

The Alé! project promotes summer actions aimed at young people residing in the Lucca plain between 3 and 23 years old with serious disabilities who attend schools of all levels. The objective of the activities is to offer inclusion and socialization experiences and guarantee support to maintain and develop skills and autonomy. The project involves 17 partners and 2 supporters: a community in action for an initiative of great social and educational value. Together with the Lucca Plain District Area of ​​the North West Tuscany USL Company there are in fact the Municipalities of Lucca, Altopascio, Capannori, Montecarlo, Pescaglia, Porcari, Villa Basilica, Foundation for Social Cohesion Onlus, Anffas Lucca ETS-APS, Provincial Association AICS Lucca, ASD Arca di Noè, APS Kreativa, Fondazione Mare Oltre Onlus, La Mano Amica Società Cooperativa Sociale, ASD Estate Giovani, Riding Center La Luna ASD, Fonte del Sorriso, Cooperativa Sociale l’Impronta Onlus, ASD Sport & Fun, ASD Lucca Swimming Club, APS National Board of the Deaf Lucca Provincial Section, Mangwana APS Lucca, ASD Small Stars, ASD Freestyle Valico, ASD l’Acquario, ASD Centro Ippico Marilla.

To register for the activities, simply fill in the application form which can be downloaded and printed from the website of the USL Toscana nord Ovest company at the address https://uslnordOvest.toscana.it/bandi-e-concorsi, from the website of the Municipalities of Lucca, Altopascio, Capannori, Montecarlo, Pescaglia, Porcari, Villa Basilica, from the Piana schools website.

The completed form can be delivered directly to the chosen association or body.

You can also contact the relevant association or body directly using the contact details indicated for each of them in the Project and in the information material produced: the Fondazione per la Coesione Sociale Onlus has in fact co-financed the project by creating the brochure available online on the websites of the Local Health Authority, the Municipalities of the Lucca Plain and the local schools.

Registration for the activities must be carried out at least 7 days before the start of attendance and in any case no later than 10 June (for example if you decide to use the activity starting from 12 June, the registration must be delivered by 5 June).
