CIVITANOVA MARCHE – Ancient globes, geographical maps hidden in drawers for years, but also the history of chairs, installations, painting and ceramics workshops, music, books and lots of art will be the protagonists on Sunday 26 May of Hidden Gardens, an initiative created to reveal the beauties and hidden treasures, but above all the stories of the families of the Borgo Alto.
The Upper Town will open the doors of buildings and courtyards, public and private places, to share the beauty, art and care of cherished places from 4pm to 11pm.
The event is organized by the association Sentinelle del Mattino and Società Operaia with the patronage of the Municipality of Civitanova Marche and with the patronage and participation of the Marche Regional Council, and the collaboration of the University of Camerino, Civitanova Theatres, Moretti Civic Art Gallery and FAI, Enrico Cecchetti Municipal Acting School and the “Il Palco” music laboratory.
There are 22 views proposed, with as many performances: musical and artistic performances, exhibitions, activities for children, book and aromatic herb presentations, tango, all as a backdrop to the discovery of the fascinating route through courtyards, gardens and cloisters of the village of Annibal Dear.
From 6 pm, it is possible to take part in the guided tour of the historic center organized by the Civitanovesi Study Center and Archeo Club d’Italia.
Atac spa will provide a shuttle service from 5pm to 11pm, both from the Itcg and from the car park of the Capuchin friars convent with arrival at the Tramvia square.
