Open House Turin is an event free public which offers the possibility of visiting, for a weekend, places not usually accessible, such as historical buildings And residences but also homes contemporary buildings, green spaces and Turin infrastructures. 25 Green – An entire condominium conceived as a habitable forest: 63 homes and irregular terraces surrounded by plants, rooftop gardens and pools of water. In the eighteenth century it housed, on the ground floor, one of the oldest cafés in Turin, the Forneris. Between 2010 and 2012 the Palace underwent a major restoration work: coffered ceilings, paintings, and frescoes, and the spaces around the courtyard of honor. Palazzo Biandrante is located in via delle Orfane 6 and can be visited both on Saturdays and Sundays, from 10am to 7pm.

Downtown Lofts – In a building from the 60s, a commercial environment transformed into a loft with a contemporary style, with wavy balconies: an eclectic home designed by architects Jaretti and Luzi, known in Turin for their noteworthy creations, such as the house of ‘Obelisk. Downtown Loft is located in via Saluzzo and will open its doors on Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 1pm and 2pm to 7pm.

Open House is an international initiative born in London in 1992, and currently includes 54 cities on every continent, including Turin. The objective is to reveal and make known the common heritage and the hidden urban beauty of the places in which we live. An invitation to discovery, a great party, not only out of curiosity but also projected towards a greater sense of belonging.
