Legality network: demonstration in Modica

Modica – The event promoted by CSVE, local ETS associations and students was held this morning in Modica. Remembering the importance of being united for legality and against all mafias, this is the objective of the event which took place this morning in Modica and promoted by CSVE in collaboration with the ETS network present in the area.

The initiative, organized as part of the “Legality Network” on the occasion of the “Legality Day” celebrated yesterday, saw the participation of institutions, including the Councilors of the Municipality of Modica Chiara Facello and Samuele Cannizzaro, the volunteers of the Bodies of Third Sector including Anfass Modica, Avo Modica, Ipso Facto, Ass.Crisci Ranni, Ass.Don Puglisi, Ass.Piccoli Fratelli, Misericordia, Aisf, the Modican branch of Libera, but above all the students of some higher education institutions.

It was they who promoted actions of commitment for the city through flash mobs, workshop activities and this morning’s procession, which started from Piazza Matteotti and reached Piazza “Crisci Ranni”. There the students, already involved in class in the last period, completed the works and displayed them, explaining their meaning to their peers, families and citizens.

“This year, on the occasion of Legality Day, the CSVE organized a series of events involving students, schools, active citizens and local institutions. In recent days, in schools and in the territories of the provinces of Catania, Enna, Syracuse and Ragusa, our volunteers have worked closely with teachers and students, with the aim of involving the largest number of people, encouraging an open dialogue and constructive on the role of each person in building a more just and safe society” this is the message from the president of the CSVE Salvatore Raffa.
