Bisceglie ready to welcome the historical re-enactment “The Three Saints of Sagina”

The city of Bisceglie is preparing to welcome the third edition of the historical re-enactment “The Three Saints of Sagina”, an event that celebrates the first discovery of the bones of the Protector Saints Mauro, Sergio and Pantaleone and takes residents and visitors on a journey into the past.

Organized by the Trani Tradizioni Cultural Association, the event, sponsored by the Municipality of Bisceglie, will take place on 20 and 21 July and includes a wide range of activities that will transport the audience to the heart of the Middle Ages. From historical processions in medieval dress to performances by timpanists and flag-wavers, to fire-eating jugglers.”The Dragons of Trani Traditions” to the musical group “The Sword Jesters”, the historical re-enactment of The Three Saints of Sagina offers an experience for the whole family. The event will end with the light and fire show at the Torrione Sant’Angelo, an exciting celebration of the ancient tradition and magic of the past.

“This historical reenactment is a moment of joy and gratitude for this community,” he says Giuseppe Forni president of the Trani Tradizioni Cultural Association. “We are thrilled to offer visitors a unique experience that celebrates the history of Bisceglie and its traditions.” The event will take place in various evocative places of the city, such as the historic center and the city streets, offering participants the opportunity to explore the historical and architectural beauties of Bisceglie while immersing themselves in the atmosphere of the historical re-enactment.
