The historical re-enactment “The Three Saints of Sagina” returns to Bisceglie

The city of Bisceglie is preparing to welcome the third edition of the historical re-enactment “The Three Saints of Sagina”, an unmissable event which celebrates the first discovery of the bones of the Protector Saints Mauro, Sergio and Pantaleone and takes residents and visitors on an exciting journey into past.

Organized with care and dedication by the Trani Tradizioni Cultural Association, the event, sponsored by the Municipality of Bisceglie, will take place on 20 and 21 July and includes a wide range of engaging activities that will transport the public to the heart of the Middle Ages. From historical processions in medieval dress to performances by timpanists and flag-wavers, to the fire-eating jugglers “I Draghi di Tradizioni” to the renowned musical group “I Giullari di spade”, the historical re-enactment of I Tre Santi della Sagina offers an unforgettable experience for the whole family. The event will end with the long-awaited light and fire show at the Torrione Sant’Angelo, an exciting celebration of the ancient tradition and magic of the past.

“This historical re-enactment is a moment of joy and gratitude for this community,” says Giuseppe Forni, president of the Trani Tradizioni Cultural Association. “We are thrilled to offer visitors a unique experience that celebrates the history of Bisceglie and its traditions.”

The event will take place in various evocative places of the city, such as the historic center and the city streets, offering participants the opportunity to explore the historical and architectural beauties of Bisceglie while immersing themselves in the magical atmosphere of the historical reenactment.

The complete program of the event is on the official website of I Tre Santi della Sagina.
