Genoa – Here’s how it will take place – Friday 24 May – the sinking of the first caisson of the new breakwater in Genoa. In the Captain’s room of the Port Authority of Genoa, with Paolo Piacenza (current extraordinary commissioner of the authority, investigated for abuse of office in the maxi corruption investigation), speeches by Marco Bucci, mayor of Genoa, are scheduled starting from 3.30 pm and commissioner for the dam and the subport tunnel, Alessandro Piana, interim governor of Liguria, the deputy minister mel Mit Edoardo Rixi.
The dam project will be illustrated by Pietro Salini CEO of WeBuild leader of PerGenova Breakwater. The streaming connection from the construction site to the sea is expected at 4.15pm for the sinking phase of the caisson. After the speeches by Claudio Gemme (Fincantieri infrastructures), president of PerGenova Breakwater and Silvio Fascio (PerGenova Breakwater), the minister for infrastructure Matteo Salvini will speak.
