A great event with an international flavour Monday 27 May to the Rossini Theatre For Pesaro Italian Capital of Culture 2024 with the concert of Nils FrahmBerlin pianist and composer known for his innovative approach to a traditional instrument such as the piano.

Extraordinary virtuoso with a magnetic presence on stage, Nils Frahm comes to Pesaro as part of Playlist Pesaroan event promoted by Municipality of Pesaro and fromAMATin collaboration with Marche region And MiC.

When faced with the challenge of delineating the boundary between classical and electronic music, Nils Frahm’s name emerges as the point of convergence. In his live performances featuring prestigious concerts, Frahm displays a unique fusion of upright piano, grand, rhodes and synthesizers. His way of approaching the instrument is thoughtful and intimate, with a sonic alchemy that mixes environmental textures and electronic atmospheres, conquering a vast audience all over the world. His world tours have consolidated his reputation as an extraordinary virtuoso, his albums have received praise from both critics and audiences and his live performances have always sold out.

In 2011, he published Felt, a revolutionary album that made him known on a large scale, characterized by a different composition than in the past, focused exclusively on the piano. Two years later, after extensive touring, Frahm found critical success with the album Spaces, expressing his passion for experimentation and responding to his fans’ requests to capture the essence of his live performances. In 2015, Frahm established Piano Day, a global association created with his closest friends to celebrate the piano through innovative projects and concerts around the world. In the same year, he composed the film’s soundtrack Victoria by director Sebastian Schipper, winning the prestigious German Film Prize. After the album’s release All melody in 2018, Frahm embarked on a two-year world tour with over 180 sold out shows. In December 2020, he released the concert film Tripping with Nils Frahm, visually and sonically capturing a significant moment in his journey. The film is produced by the Leiter label and production house, in association with Plan B Entertainment. In September 2022, Nils presented his acclaimed new album, Music for animals, consisting of ten tracks with a duration of over three hours. This is an ambitious and engaging project, unlike anything Nils has released to date.
