Thirty-five bearers of Garlate’s Bicimania

OLGIATE COMASCO (CO) – The athletes of Bmx Garlate participated in the circuit regional Bmx Lombardy Trophy which was held at the Olgiate Comasco (CO) track, races valid for the second stage. More than two hundred athletes lined up at the start, including some Venetian riders who came to try out the track in view of the next round of the Italian Circuit. There were thirty-five bearers of Bicimania Garlate.

The protagonist of the Garlate team is Martino Caslini who takes home two victories obtained in the Bmx Esordienti II year and the Cruiser Esordienti/Allievi, also becoming the leader in these two categories. Leader’s jersey also retained by the Junior Matteo Well done which finishes in fourth place. In addition to this, there are also the podiums of Ryan Motta (G1) and of Pietro Tavola (G4), both third in their respective categories.

Seventh place for Paolo Dell’Aquila (G2) and the sixth of Giacomo Zangani (rookies 2). As for the other riders in Final A, applause to G4 Davide Gatti And Mattia Morello for sixth position. Instead, seventh place goes to Davide Cattaneo in the Students (15/16 years). Some riders have reached the B finals which rank them from ninth to sixteenth place. From thirteen years old and up, the B finals have no longer been held for a few years. Fifth place in the semi-final for the thirteen year old Gabriele Borelli (First year rookie), the eighth of Giacomo Festaand the fifth of Riccardo Cornaggiain band II (14 years), and the seventh of Alex Gilardi (Students). Race ended in the qualifying heats for Alessio Colombo (G4), Sebastian Laddaga (G4), Edoardo Panza (G5), Simone Bonacina, Alessandro Castelnuovo And Carlo Colombo (Rookies II), Daniele Biffi And Giorgio Valsecchi (Students) e Giovanni Caslini (masters 17/24).

In the Cruiser bicycle races, in the rookie/pupil category, another hat-trick came after Besnate: first Martino Caslinisecond Davide Cattaneothird Alex Gilardi and fifth Giorgio Valsecchi.
