competition in Brindisi, there is: damage. But now insult is added to this injury. We read in the newspapers about “Puglia Easy to Reach” the initiative of the regional transport councilor of Puglia, Debora Cilientowith the related allocation of one million euros to connect the airports with the main tourist locations by bus.

We agree that making airports more accessible makes them more attractive to both foreign tourists, who have the possibility of moving easily to reach places of interest.

We agree that the intermodal transport offer should be strengthened.

We also agree that direct connections from Apulian airports to the main tourist locations by coach should be intensified. But scrolling through the VIP list of locations we see the Gargano, Castel del Monte, Salento, the province of Lecce… but did you forget to include the city of Taranto, and the western Ionian coast with Castellaneta, Ginosa, Laterza? And did you forget to include the eastern Ionian coast with Leporano, Pulsano, Lizzano, Manduria, Maruggio, Avetrana in the connections?

Maybe the million euros wasn’t enough? Perhaps these areas, these beaches, also awarded with the Blue Flag, are not part of the Apulian tourist scene? But do you believe that international tourism shouldn’t pass through here? It passes, it passes, despite the “omissions” of the Puglia Region. Despite the damage and the mockery. We therefore ask that the plan be revised and the areas of the province of Taranto be included.
