The robbery is a 15-minute short from 2023. It tells of a thief on the run from the police who enters a library and takes those present hostage. In the brief pause granted by the negotiations with the police, the robber and the library readers, with the help of the books around them, will go beyond the role assigned to them by chance. The awards ceremony is scheduled for Sunday (26 May) at 5.30 pm at the Cinema Eden in Arezzo and the operators are organizing themselves to have the group of users and volunteers who participated in the making of the short film participate in the ceremony.

This is a ‘small success’ which is part of the constant and renewed commitment of this reality in the Serchio Valley to provide creative and community responses to the topic of well-being and mental distress, despite some difficulties present in the services. During the month of March the Fornaci di Barga laboratory was also invited toEcological Film Festival in Lecce. The short film was also screened and appreciated in Puglia The robbery.

The hope is therefore that the work being carried out will continue to receive positive feedback at a regional and national level, as an opportunity to promote good practices, inclusion for users and visibility for mental health services.
