Double appointment for the Cus Ferrara athletes involved in the Marconi Triathlon, second round of the Emilia Romagna Tri-Cup 2024, and in the Pesaro Triathlon, third stage of the Adriatic Series and excellent results in both races over the Olympic distance (1, 5km swimming, 40km cycling and 10km running).
Cristiano Ferraresi still shines on the Emilian Apennines who, a few days after third place in the Cesenatico Sprint, took 1st position in the M3 category and 24th overall with the remarkable time of 2h09’51”. The other “gold” of the day comes thanks to Roberta Scabbia, who adds another medal to her rich triathlete collection. Roberta, a finalist at last year’s Ironman World Championships, also proves herself to be solid on short and medium distances, taking 1st place in the M3 category and 9th overall among women. The expert Cussina athlete was the author of a regular and flawless race in all three disciplines and she crossed the finish line with a time of 2h30’12”, putting all her opponents well behind her.
The other women’s podium is signed by Elena Stegani, who confirms herself as an elite triathlete; at her seasonal debut in her triple, she earned 2nd place in the M1 category and 3rd in the women’s regional ranking with an absolute level performance. In the men’s M1 category it is the usual Daniele Di Fresco who brings the yellow and black colors to the podium, with a phenomenal race which earns him 2nd place in the category and 15th overall out of the almost three hundred participants. Another prestigious placing is that of Mirco Bertasi, 2nd in the M4 category and 49th overall.
