PESCARA: THEFT IN A FUEL STATION, 22-YEAR-OLD ARRESTED | Current news

PESCARA – Yesterday morning, following a report of a fight in the street between two men received by 112, the Flying Squad intervened in the Portanuova area, tracing and identifying the two involved, one of whom had threatened the other with a knife which was was found and seized.

The alleged attacker turned out to be a 22-year-old who had argued with the other man after being caught inside his property.

The officers, during the identification procedures, drew attention to some details of the jacket worn by the attacker and decided to carry out further investigations because a few hours earlier they had carried out an inspection for theft at a petrol station, where unknown persons, after having forced the entrance door, they had entered an office and removed various goods.

Immediately the officers viewed the images from the video surveillance system, noticing the detail of the jacket then detected on the man arrested for the threat with the knife.

The activity carried out therefore made it possible to connect the 22-year-old to the theft that occurred during the night at the fuel station in Via Tiburtina.

The officers’ intuition was further confirmed by the discovery of some objects stolen from the office and found in the boy’s possession.

At the end of the ritual activities, the 22-year-old was reported for aggravated theft as well as for the crime of aggravated threats
